St. Spyridons Church in Long Island, Bahamas is one of our most adventurous trips complete with liturgical services, religious discussion, and the amenities of living on an island in the Caribbean. Hosted by the Maillis family, natives of the Bahamas and our Orthodox representation in Long Island, this SPFL trip is certain to be unforgetable. Land was purchased, land cleared, foundation poured, and walls erected. We are raising money now for the roof. Get ready to spend two weeks in the Bahamas spear fishing, swimming, hiking, and building a church, literally.

Type of worker: We need roofers and those able to lay cement block and mix cement. In general, adventurous type, strong back, able, and ready for anything...(cooking also needed). Please remember we are on an island and food selection is not what we expect in the states. However, the seafood is fresh!
