Participation in any of the sponsored and organized St. Paul's Fellowship of Labor trips automatically qualifies a volunteer as a life long honorary member.  Listed below you will find some information in regard to their experiences while on our adventures.  We challenge the reading audience to join the ranks!  But don't take our word for it, experience it for yourself!

There are many ways to describe our volunteers. The majority of our volunteeres are late high school and college age students, but we have had participants as young as 16 and as old as 48 on our trips. Our members have come from all over the USA, Canada, Georgia, the Bahamas, India, Poland, Uganda, Korea, and Greece.

Although we go to Orthodox Monasteries and Convents, and discuss and learn their perspectives, we have had volunteers from many denominations of Christianity and other Religions. Our volunteers come with different energies, perspectives, views, and opinions on many topics concerning spirituality. St. Paul's Fellowship of Labor is a forum and opportunity for discussion. Our goal is not agreement but for everyone to learn how to pursue discussion respectfully and with conviction. We hope to create an atmosphere that allows participants to clarify views, deepen understanding, and follow the logic and implications of their beliefs.

Our hope, through the inspiration of monastics, is to determine how we can materialize our beliefs and philosophies into our lives and to really internalize what that can mean.

"Dearest Mothers--I can't tell you how much I needed this, I will never forget this trip and the new friends I've made from coming all this way! Thank you so much for everything!"
- Nerissa Maillis, 19, The Meeting of the Lord Convent-Dec. 2005

"Through the labors both physical and spiritual, I have gained a vast appreciation for what can be accomplished when a group of hardworking Orthodox Christians gather in the name of Christ and struggle together to achieve a common goal.  By the prayers of all the faithful may God grant this Fellowship many Blessed and Productive years to come!"
- Alex Laskowski, 29, St. Gregory of Sinai Monastery March 4-11th 2006
